EMOTIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Even as a wallflower photographer hidden behind a camera, I get a little overcome by emotion when a bride dances with her father at the reception or a groom dances with his mom as I think about my daughter and how I'll feel at her wedding someday and dances I've had with my mom. The things that are most important in this life are worth getting emotional about. When you surround yourself with friends and family to celebrate the close of one chapter and the beginning of another there is bound to be plenty of bittersweet emotion and I'm always on the look out for it. I want my photos to move the viewer and there is no better way than by capturing the emotions on your loved ones faces. Whether it's a groom trying his best to look stoic as his eyes water up or the mom wiping away a tear on the front row, emotion is contagious and those faces tell a story.
